Replace Wallet

The Replace Wallet feature in AstraDEX lets you generate a new wallet or import an existing one to replace the selected active wallet, offering flexibility and control over your wallet management.

How to Use the Replace Wallet Feature

  1. Click Replace Wallet:

    • Go to the Wallet Settings and select Replace Wallet.

  2. Choose an Option:

    • Generate New Wallet:

      • Click this option, confirm the action, and your wallet will be replaced with a new one.

    • Import Wallet:

      • Enter your Mnemonic or Private Key, click Submit, confirm, and your wallet will be replaced.

  3. Confirmation:

    • A message will confirm the wallet has been successfully generated or imported.

Important Notes

  • For Generated Wallets: Save the seed phrase or private key immediately.

  • For Imported Wallets: Double-check the Mnemonic or Private Key for accuracy.

  • Action is Final: Replacing a wallet removes the current one permanently.

Don’t forget to withdraw all tokens from the previous wallet, or make sure you have the PK, so that you can import it in the future.

Generate New

  • If you decided to generate a new wallet, then click on the "🆕Generate New". After that, "✔️ Confirm" the action.

Import from PK

  • If you decided to replace a selected wallet with yours from PK, then click on the "📩Import". After that select "🔐 Private Key".

  • Enter a new wallet address and press send.

  • Now, enter the Private Key itself

  • Then check your credentials, and don't forget to withdraw your tokens from current wallet (after confirmation your current wallet will be replaced), then press "✔️Confirm".

Now you have a new wallet configured!

Import from Mnemonic

  • If you decided to replace a selected wallet with yours from Mnemonic, then click on the "📩Import". After that select "Mnemonic".

  • Enter a new wallet address and press send.

  • Then, enter the mnemonic series of words (separated by a SPACE)

  • Check your credentials, and don't forget to withdraw your tokens from current wallet (after confirmation your current wallet will be replaced), then press "✔️Confirm".

  • Now you have a new wallet configured!
